This was a fantastic opportunity to see the natural landscapes of the Ireland mountains and go for a solid hunt. Admittedly as I’m from Canada I expected the ground to hard/ packed but it was much more soft and wet even at the high altitude. The goats decided to be difficult that day and not break from the cover of the dead fall trees. We had to earn the trophy making the experience that much more memorable. Fantastic hunt I’ll remember for a life time and a memory to share. Highly recommend booking with David. Very knowledgeable and experienced !!

Everything from start to finish was excellent. The process of scheduling was easy and accommodating. Myself as a hunter who does not like the posh-gentleman easy hunts I was very pleased with Davids hunting style. It was good hiking, covering lots of ground, and constating looking for new ground and animals. As someone who has visited the country before but not spent days hiking in the countryside, it was very refreshing to be there. There are not many occasions in one’s life where you can sit on a hillside and watch the sunset over the Irish countyside waiting for you target animal to make an appearance.
David was an excellent guide with his knowledge of the land and the locals trust him. Being able to hunt with someone who you can trust is by far one of the most important aspects when selecting a guide, David is that man without hesitation. At no point did I feel pressured to take a shot or harvest an animal that I did not want, which I really appreciate. Many people would dismiss Ireland as a hunting destination, it most definitely is, and having David as your guide is the correct choice. Overall it was a very pleasant experience be around someone who is like minded and cares about proper conservation of the land and animal populations. 10/10 would recommend.

From the initial conversations that we had about what to expect, his equipment, positive mental attitude, David went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and reassure that I had what I needed in order to have a fun hunt. He put absolutely no pressure on what we wanted to do and made sure that no question was left unanswered. From Sun up to sundown and beyond dusk, he worked hard to make sure that I got the full experience. The views of the places that he took me were incredible and as I told him many times, I could not take a bad picture. I feel incredibly taken care of and a blessed to have our paths cross. I cannot wait to make my way back to Ireland someday and spend time with David.

As for the hunting itself, it was nothing short of spectacular. Him Species and if one thing wasn’t working, we would quickly transition into another tactic that proved to be fruitful not once or twice but three times. David never tried to sell me the Sun and the moon on what size of deer were roaming his hunting areas and yet managed to exceed my expectations every time. We hunted all three deer species available and I’ll note that this was in fact the determining factor for me to have picked Killeagh Hunting Trips. I just returned from an amazing Hunt in Ireland where I was able to get a Red Stag Deer. 
I’ve never hunted in Ireland before so I did a ton of online research and found David Kennedy at Killeagh Hunting Trips.
His correspondence with Licensing and suggestions on where to stay were all very helpful. 
He's been hunting this area for most of his life so needless to say he knew where to go. We seen Sika deer and Red Stags on our first Day and I had the opportunity to get mine on Day 2. I used his Guns and all of his Equipment was top notch. His pricing is fair and he's very passionate about what he does. I also had the opportunity to meet and hunt with his Friend William who's also an amazing hunter and all-around sportsman.

A day well spent with my good friend @killeaghhuntingtrips was a day I will never forget. I've hunted every deer species in Ireland and the UK and always overlooked true wild Irish goats f An invite down to expierence hunting them and away I went. I have to say it was the most enjoyable/ testing stalk and shot l've ever taken they are by no means an easy animal to get close to on open hills and mountains. Not an easy step taken climbing the mountain in absolutely stunning scenery and landscape.
